PURPOSE:To improve the use efficiency of a memory for tracing, by detecting a loop structure of a program in an information processing device. CONSTITUTION:A device 20 for tracing micoprograms consists of a detecting circuit 3 which recognizes that output information from an information processing device 30 is a branch instruction forming a loop structure, buffer memories 10 and 11 where branch instructions are stored successively, a buffer comparing circuit 9 which compares contents of buffer memories 10 and 11 with each other, and a controlling circuit 15 which suppresses the double tracing by the coincidence output of the buffer comparing circuit 9. A pointer 16 for tracing of a memory 19 for tracing is switched to an artificial pointer 18 by the double tracing suppression controlling circuit 15 to store information in the memory 19 for tracing temporarily. |
