PURPOSE:To facilitate the check of the meter circuit by connecting resistors having specified resistance values in place of a resistor sensor part of the vehicle mounted meter circuit wherein a power source, the meter, and the resistor sensor part are connected in series and performing the checking. CONSTITUTION:A variable resistor device 30 is provided in place of the resistor sensor part between the meter 20 and the ground. A switch 31, the resistors RE- RF, and a lamp 22 are provided in said resistor device 30. The resistance value of each resistor is determined so that a pointer 20a indicates points E-F when the meter 20 is normal. When the switch 31 is switched and the pointer 20a indicates the points E-F, it is judged that the meter 20 is normal. Thus the meter circuit can be readily checked. |
