PURPOSE:To carry out firmly assortment work by providing a plurality of conveyers crossing perpendicularly to a linear conveyer, and making use of a branch roller at the crossing, and another roller appearing and disappearing between the rollers. CONSTITUTION:A conversion mechanism 3 consisting of a plurality of conversion rollers is provided in the first linear conveyer 1 including plurality of mutually connected convey elements so as to assort the goods to be conveyed. Sliding measn 5 having small rollers is positioned between the rollers 4 of the conversion mechanism 3. When the sliding means 5 is lifted above the face of the rollers 4, a drive roller 6 are forcibly driven to move the goods 31 to be conveyed straightly from the conveyer 1 to the next conveyer 1. If necessary, it is possible to carry out an assortment work effectively by means of the sliding means 5. |
