PURPOSE:To measure electrical absorption effects and to measure the concns. of waste liquid and waste sludge accurately in AC bridges by using a sensor having a pair or electrodes for AC as one side of the bridges and inserting the sensor into the waste liquid or the waste sludge. CONSTITUTION:A sensor 1 is connected to the side AB of the bridges ABCD of a measuring device for concns. of waste liquid and waste sludge, and the secondary winding S of a voltage transformer 8 coupled to an AC electric power source 7 of constant voltage sine wave. A variable capacitor VC1 is connected to the side AD, a variable capacitor VC2 to the side DC, and a fixed resistor R and a variable resistor VR are connected to the side AC. The sliding terminal of the resistor VR and the point D of the bridge ABCD are coupled. If this sensor is inserted into the waste liquid or waste sludge, the balance of the ABCD is broken according to he concns. of the waste liquid or waste sludge by the electrical absorption effect of the waste liquid or waste sludge between coil-like electrodes L1 and L2, and an output is produced between the bridges B and D. |
