PURPOSE:To eliminate automatically an offset phenomenon of a developing agent, by providing a mechanism which controls a feeding amount in a direction crossing with a feed in a developing agent circulating direction in accordance with an offset of said agent distribution in a transverse direction. CONSTITUTION:A developing device provided with a circulating type stirring mechanism for developing agent having a mechanism which feeds a developing agent in turn, is provided with a developer intake lower discharge orifice 13 right under a developer intake 9, and when the discharge orifice is closed, the developing agent is carried and discharged to a discharge orifice 12 at the opposite side through a path 10 from the intake 9 by a screw 11. On the contrary, when the discharge orifice 13 is not closed with the developing agent in a well 3 for developing agent, the developing agent is carried to a transverse and an offset of the developing agent at a discharge orifice 12 side for developing agent is prevented. By this way, the offset phenomenon of the developing agent is automatically eliminated by providing a lengthwise discharge orifice under the intake for developing agent. |
