In an electrical heating body, particularly for installation in motor vehicle seats, having heating wires, which are applied in the form of a wavy line on a preferably textile supporting material in the form of a leaf and are fixed to the supporting material, said wires are attached by means of an adhesive strip, which is preferably narrower than the wavy path formed by the heating wire, to the supporting material, which can be carried out both with adhesive strips having a self-adhesive layer on one side and with adhesive strips which are coated on both sides. The wave-shaped wire tracks and the adhesive strips can be applied mechanically.
