An orientatable support for viewing screens has a base 1, a platform on which the screen can be fixed, a carrier 6 and a curved plate 5 fixed under the platform and capable of sliding on the carrier 6 for inclining the platform 2 with respect to the horizontal, the carrier 6 being mounted in pivoting manner on the base 1 and rotatable about a vertical axis. The carrier 6 is in the form of a flattened rectangular parallelepiped and its upper face is formed of two planes inclined downwardly and coupled by a median strip, and the horizontal axis of rotation of the curved plate is a fictitious axis situated at the exterior of the support, very much above the platform. The support solves the problem of reflections of light on the screen, and has the advantage of permitting the user to have an independent screen support which can consequently be moved about according to need. <IMAGE> |
