Folding feed for paper napkins - has web fed through cutters and to suction grips for folding severed sections

The feed for producing stacked paper napkins from a primary web comprises a frame, with a cutter for slitting the primary web into a pair of webs. These are advanced along side-by-side paths while longitudinally folded. Each web is cut transversely to develop two series of discrete web products. A pair of folding rolls are journalled in the frame, one for each of the series. A vacuum grip associated with the rolls folds each product. An endless belt strips products from the roll of the first series and urges the product against a product carried by the roll of the second series for delivering both products in superposed relation along a horizontal path.
