PURPOSE:To reduce processing cost for Oldham couplings and enhance the processing accuracy by furnishing detent parts stretching in opposite directions on the major dia. side of a wheel-shaped member in gland structure, and by providing detent part on the minor dia. side in such a way as extending in the direction right across the major dia. side detent part. CONSTITUTION:An Oldham coupling 1 is formed from a wheel-shaped member in gland structure, wherein the inner dimension M on the minor dia. side is formed some greater than the outside dia. of a boss 4B of a revolving scroll 4, and the inside dimension L on the major dia. side right across the minor dia. side is formed in a dimension as the outside dia. of boss 4B to which twice of the revolving radius of the revolving scroll 4 is added. A thin detent 2 stretching outward on the same level as the surface of the minor dia. side of said wheel-shaped member is formed on said minor dia. side, while another thin detent 3 extending outward on the same level as the surface of the major dia. side is formed on said major dia. side. This Oldham coupling enables mass manufacturing to lead to reduction of the processing cost, and at the same time, processing accuracy can be increased. |
