PURPOSE:To increase the transfer speed of a file and also the response, by executing the change of arrangement on a magnetic disc of the file so that a seek time can be shortened through a study request. CONSTITUTION:In an electronic computer system constituted to increase a data transfer speed between a main storage device 20 and a magnetic disc, files NOF1-Fn are stored in a file transfer tracing area 23 provided in the main storage device 20 in time series in the order of file referencing, and the file arrangement change on a magnetic disc 40 can be made so that the number of seek times can be reduced with the study request after the execution of a program. |
