PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate a decoding error generating position efficiently and surely for the decoded data of a receiving signal including phase information. SOLUTION: Receiving signal including phase information is demodulated and phase differencesα,β, or the like, from an encoding point (e.g. H1) when the demodulation signal is decoded (hard decision) are detected. Occurrence of decode error is estimated when the sign of a phase difference signal -δthus obtained is inverted (+β→-γin the drawing) while satisfying|δ|>LP.
