PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support system for generating block skeleton unit information which can generate block skeleton unit information related to manufacturing of a switch board reasonably without waste from a single-line diagram independently of experience and know-how of an engineer. SOLUTION: The support system is provided with a system mainframe 100, databases 110, 120 for retaining switch board single-line diagram information and the drop-down screen information, a monitor 130 and an operation part 140. The information displaying a plurality of block skeleton units is generated from the switch board single-line diagram information by calling the switch board single-line diagram information. By the information, the block skeleton unit information is generated which makes connection relationship by a drop- down system mutually.
