PURPOSE:To facilitate the adjusting of a slide-sealing surface by a method wherein an oil surface angle in case of mounting on the shaft is made 90 deg. or more. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary lip 3 is provided at the inside of a seal lip 2 baked to a reinforcing ring 1 and a slip ring 4 is fitted to the outer periphery of the seal lip 2 inbetween the oil surface angle side 0 of the seal lip 2 and the auxiliary lip 3. The oil surface angle formed by the oil surface angle 0 and the surface 5 of the reciprocating shaft is set at 90 deg. or more. As a result, the contact pressure of a sliding surface near an internal rim C at the oil surface angle side is increased at the side of the sealed fluid surely and is reduced as it approaches a seal angle A side surely. This prevents the sealed fluid from being introduced to the outside of the angle side with respect to the reciprocating motion of the shaft. |
