PURPOSE:To increase extremely the electroacoustic conversion effect, by forming a plate itself having a bimorph structure to a pizoelectric matter into an acoustic impedance converter by which the acoustic impedance is gradually reduced. CONSTITUTION:A speaker consists of a piezoelectric matter 13, a driving part 12 which is joined to the matter 13 to form a bimorph structure, and a diaphragm 11 which is joined to the part 12. The part 12 contains plural arms 14 and functions as an acoustic impedance converter. The width of the arm 14 is gradually reduced toward its outer edge part. The surface flexion vibration which is produced by the matter 13 and the bimorph structure of the part 12 is transmitted to the arm 14. |
