<p>PURPOSE:To maintain a replenishing amount of an adsorbent at proper amount at all times by a method wherein a mixed amount of the powdery adsorbent and dust separated from a regenerated adsorbent, a treating gas amount, SO2 concn. and a dust amount are detected and the replenishing amount of the adsorbent is calculated by a predetermined calculating formula. CONSTITUTION:The amount W1 of a powdery adsorbent and dust which are separated by a separator 8 such as a vibration screen or the like after the adsorbent is regenerated and cooled in a desorbing tower and a cooling tower 2 is detected by a detector 13 and each treating gas amount Q, a dust amount rho contained in a unit gas and SO2 concn. (d) are detected by detectors 14-16 of the exhaust gas inflow side of the adsorbing tower 1 and, by a control box 12, dust amount rhoQ and SO2 adsorbing amount dQ are calculated. Because the part scattered by deterioration and breakdown of the adsorbent in the adsorbing tower 1 corresponds to 1/2 of the SO2 adsorbing amount, the replenishing amount Wm of the adsorbent is shown by formula Wm=W1-rhoQ+(1/2)dQ. A rotary feeder 17 is controlled so as to supply the replenishing amount Wm calculated by the control box 12.</p> |
