<p>The ic-engine fuel injector has a body (1) with a seat (4) to cooperate with a valve gate (8) which is opened against a spring (11) under the fluid pressure of the fuel. It also has pressurised air outlets around the valve. A cavity (6) is formed in the interior of the body and partially closed by a perforated screen (5). This separates a main chamber (14) connected to the fuel input from a second (16) closed by the valve. An annular space (19) is formed between the cavity and the air feed, connected with the second chamber by calibrated orifices at the sides of the screen.</p> |
