The rotor (4) of a crossed-coil moving-magnet measuring instrument is in each case flattened in a circular segment shape parallel to its direction of magnetisation at two opposite sides. The bearing plate (2) of the crossed-coil moving-magnet measuring instrument has two upward pointing stop tabs (8, 9), the rotor (4) resting against one stop tab (8) with a straight face (6), formed by its flattened portions, in the zero position of the crossed-coil moving-magnet measuring instrument and resting with the straight face (6) against the other stop tab (9) in the end position. <IMAGE>
