APPARATUS FOR ARRANGING CHARACTER WITH KANA

PURPOSE:To automatically allow a character to be supplied with KANA by a method wherein instructions as to giving KANA and the inputs of the number of KANA and that of KANZI are used to set up the spacing between KANA and that between KANZI and the arrangement of characters is controlled in an apparatus. CONSTITUTION:When instructions relating giving KANA 1 and inputs of the number of KANA 2 and that of KANZI 3 are given to an operation control device 6, the length of the characters inputted is computed according to the inputs of KANZI size 4 and the spacing between KANZI 5 that have already been given beforehand. At the same time, the length of a combination of the strip of KANA is also computed. Based on the combination of the lengths of the strip of KANA and the arranged KANZI, the operation control device 6 operates to set up the preset spacing between kana and that between KANZI and the position where the KANZI and KANA are sent. Subsequently, the input of KANA is used to print KANA at preset intervals and furthermore the input of the KANZI is employed to print the KANZI at preset intervals starting with the preset position.
