PURPOSE:To save labor in loading and unloading work and enhance workability by a method wherein a loading and unloading device can be moved to a desired position by a self-running wheel. CONSTITUTION:A self-running wheel 7 capable of changing the direction is fitted to a support member 6 through a link 8 and a hydraulic cylinder 9, the member 6 being fixed to a vertical frame 1. A metallic connector 10 is fixed to the frame 1, and an engaging recess 11 is formed at the upper end of the connector 10. A suspender 12 is travelably fitted to a guide rail 14 fixed at a lower part of a freight carrier 13 along the longitudinal direction of a vehicle, and an engaging pin 15 fixed to the suspender 12 is appropriately engaged with the recess 11. A roller 16 mounted in the connector 10 can be engaged with a guide rail 17 placed in the transverse direction of the vehicle, and the entire body of the loading and unloading device A is moved along the rail 17. A hydraulic cylinder 5 for lifting a panel 2, the hydraulic cylinder 9 and a hydraulic motor 19 for driving the self-running wheel 7 are operated by a drive source 18 mounted on the vertical frame 1. |
