The decoder has a demultiplexer whose signal impat is connected through a pilot suppessing circuit to the decorder input, and its auxiliary carrier input to a phase locked oscillator with a phase discriminator in a control loop. The phase discriminator has a reference input stage. The input stage has a differential amplifier (26-28) whose first input (23) is connected to the decorder (5) input (6), and its second input (24) to the output of the pilot suppressing circuit(7).
