The intermittently working draught adjustment device for heating boilers, comprises a temp- probe inserted in the boilers water space and activating mechanism for adjustment of the draught shutter between two end positions, i.e. open and closed. The adjustment mechanism (8) comprises an electric drive unit, such as a draw magnet, which, on being fed with current, opens the draught shutter (7), holding it in the open position. On current removal, the shutter closed under the effect of gravity. The probe (9) has two thermostat functions, one of which, within a pre-set prim. temp. range, breaks the current feed to the adjustment mechanism drive at the range's lower limit. At the upper temp. limit, it re-makes the feed circuit. In its other function. involving a predetermined second temp. range, higher than the first, it closes the drive circuit at the lower temp. limit, and breaks at the higher.
