DIGITAL MULTIMEDIA BROADCASTING(DMB) SYSTEM AND CONDITIONAL ACCESS METHOD FOR RESTRICTING OF DMB WATCHING IN REGIONAL

A conditional access method and a DMB system for regionally restricting DMB watching are provided to enable a DMB receiving terminal to decode and output a TS(Transfer Stream) packet of a broadcast channel according to received subscriber entitlement information, thereby restricting the watching for a specific broadcast channel according to a location of a DMB receiving terminal's user. A DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) system comprises the followings: a DMB receiving terminal(102) for restricting watching of a broadcast channel according to regional conditional access features of the broadcast channel selected by a user; and a DMB station(200) which includes and broadcasts watching restriction information for restricting the watching of the broadcast channel for a subscriber according to a region where the DMB receiving terminal(102) is located. The DMB station(200) collects location information of the DMB receiving terminal(102) through a mobile communication network.
