PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity of after-treatment of a printing machine by stopping a paper-feed action of the printing machine when two sheets are detected due to changes of received light rays in connection with a synchronous signal output circuit. CONSTITUTION:When two sheets are fed between a barreling detection projector 9C and a receiver 10C, the output voltage from the receiver 10C is lowered because the amount of transmitted light is reduced, making a comparator circuit output L, an inverter 37 output H, a proximity switch 11 output synchronous to pressure barrel rotations H, the 1C24Q output H, thereby the 1C28 output is made H, the 1C29Q output is made H, and a two sheet detection LED 30 is lit, then after a relay R132 has been on for a timer 31 time, the paper-feed unit is put off. In addition, when either one of the receivers 10a, 10b is shielded due to skew paper-feeding, the paper-feed unit is put off in the same manner. Furthermore, a barrel printing accident can be dissolved because the barreling is conducted in timing of the proximity switch 11. |
