PURPOSE:To simplify constitution of a data input function added to an electronic clock, by receiving an external sending signal with a liquid crystal electrode. CONSTITUTION:When an electronic clock formed by a metallic case 14, case glass 12, etc. is installed opposingly to an electrode 11 for forming a data sending device together with a body 15, voltage supply to the electrode 11 and the clock is stopped, electrostatic capacitance C1 is generated between said electrode and a liquid crystal electrode 13 which is not driven and has ground resistance R, electrostatic capacitance C2 is generated between this electrode 13 and the case 14 connected to the ground, a sent signal from the electrode 11 is received, and a received signal 22 is generated in the electrode 13. Accordingly, it is possible to simplify constitution of a data input function for time correction, etc., added to the electronic clock. |
