PURPOSE:To enhance the space factor of an armature coil by providing a movable slide blade between a former for guiding wire to a slot and an armature core and reciprocally moving the blade in response to the progress of the winding work, thereby winding the coil in high density. CONSTITUTION:After a armature core 7 is fixed with a chuck 21 and formers 23, 24 are disposed at the end face, movable slide blades 25-28 are provided between the formers 23, 24 and the end face of the core 7 with a winding device for winding a wire in the slot by turning a flier around the formers. Then, the slide blades 25- 28 are telescoped in response to the progress of the winding work so that the wire guided to the bottom of the slot by the formers may not wind up. In this manner, the wire is arranged from the bottom of the slot to wind up the wire, thereby enhancing the space factor. |
