<p>PURPOSE:To save power consumption and to make monitoring for a long time, by providing a storage element and a timer element storing the recording/operating state and controlling on/off of the power supply to a driving circuit, in a VTR recording the growing of plants and the ecology of animals. CONSTITUTION:An operation control circuit 1 is connected to a power supply E via a main power switch 2. The circuit 1 is incorporated with a storage element storing the recording and operating state of the recording mode. A series circuit between a sub-power supply switch 3 and a driving circuit 4 is connected in parallel with the circuit 1, the switch 3 is switched with the operation of the timer element to power on and off for the circuit 4. The circuit 4 includes all the electric systems required for the recording of a VTR by a camera, such as a tape feeding mechanism, a video camera driving mechanism, and a warm-up operation circuit for video, except the circuit 1. With this constitution, the on/ off of power supply to the circuit 4 is controlled with the operation of the timer element, allowing to alternately repeat recording/waiting for recording and to save power consumption.</p> |
