<p>The assembly has a cylindrical turbine shaft (2) e.g. exterior low-pressure turbine shaft, placed inside a cylindrical compressor shaft journal (4). A spline unit (8) transmits torque between the shaft and journal, where the shaft has axial notches (12) at a downstream end. A clamping nut (16) is locked in a threading (18) formed at a downstream end of the shaft. A cord (28) is housed in a groove formed at an upstream end of the nut for axial maintenance of a blocking ring (24) in position. The journal has teeth (10) extending radially from its inner surface, and cooperating with the notches.</p> |
