<p>PURPOSE:To improve the S/N ratio with sufficienly afforded signal track, control track and guard band, by synchronizing running through the use of the control track recorded on an going line, in a plurality of devices possible for reciprocating recording. CONSTITUTION:A tape 1a of a tape recorder 1 contacts an erase head 1b and a recording/reproduction head 1c and run from the head 1b to the head 1c, and a synchronizing signal from a synchronizing signal generator 1f is applied to a terminal 1g and recorded on the tape 1a via the head 1c. A tape 2 of a tape recorder 2 is run from an erase head 2b to a recording head 2c and the synchronizing signal from the terminal 1g is recorded. At the recording of the outgoing line, the tapes 1a and 2a are set by taking up side down, the synchronizing signal recorded on the incoming line is reproduced and inputted to a rotary control circuit 1j, and the phase is compared for the synchronizing operation. At the reproduction of the incoming and outgoing lines, the synchronizing run is made similarly with the reproduced synchronizing signal for signal reproduction.</p> |
