PURPOSE:To increase the set-up measurement of a piping, by applying the arm tip of a measuring device to one of the reference targets to obtain the position of the measuring device and then applying the arm tip to an end face of a set- up piping to detect the geometric state of the arm to then carry out a prescribed operation. CONSTITUTION:A measuring device 2 is semi-fixed at a position near the start point of a single pipe P1 functioning as a start pipe, and a wrist sensor 11 is set at a reference target 11 to supply the number. Thus the present position of the device 2 is calculated and stored. Then the sensor 11 is chucked to the start end of the piping P1. On the other hand, the second measuring device 3 is semi- fixed to the end face of a single pipe Pn functioning as an end pipe. The present position of the device 3 is calculated and stored in the same way as the device 2. Furthermore the measurements (a) and (b) of the start and end points respectively are supplied based on a piping plan. Then the sensor 11 is chucked to the termination of the pipe Pn. Thus the measurement of the sensor 11 of the device 3 is displayed on a display board 12. Based on this display, the fine adjustment is given to the pipes P1 and Pn each to perform the positioning of the piping. In such way, the set-up measurement is increased for the piping. |
