In a device for joining building elements (A, B), an overlapping joint is included between tow corrugated surface plates (3). The joint consists of an upper section (14) and a lower section (16) in an overlapping relationship with each other. The end (22) of upper section (14) is bent inwards and the height of the upper section (14) at the end (22) is less than the maximum height of the lower section (16). The lower (14) and the upper (16) section belong to the first (A) and second (B) building elements respectively. The two building elements are designed to form a known tongue and groove joint to each other in the direction of the main plane of the elements (A, B) and at right angles to the extension of the wave crests and troughs of the surface plates (3). In order to make the aforementioned groove and tongue joint possible, the lower section (16) is designed with obliquely inclining sliding plane (18) in the opposite direction to the other element (B) on and along which the end (22) of the upper section (14) is offset over the lower section (16) during the jointing of the elements (A, B). The purpose of this is to create the aforementioned overlapping joint as the same time as the groove and tongue joint is formed.<IMAGE> |
