A terminal supporting functions method for dynamically transmitting contents and preventing the degradation of a terminal and a DCD server and a terminal for the same are provided to allow a DBD server to recognize the supporting function of the terminal. A DCD client(110) transmits a terminal supporting function require message to a DCD server(130) in order to inform the DCD server about the terminal utility functions(S200). The DCD server receives the terminal supporting function require message from the DCD client. The DCD server transmits the terminal supporting functions response message including a second supporting functions information to the DCD client(S202).
