PURPOSE:To eliminate a fault in the conduction of connecting electrodes which connect energizing electrodes to each other, and to decrease a series resonance resistance value, by removing cut rise parts at corner parts of a tuning fork type piezoelectric oscillating plate, and arranging the connecting electrodes across the corner parts. CONSTITUTION:A tuning fork type piezoelectric oscillating plate 3 constituted in a tuning fork shape by two plate-like leg parts 1 and 1' and a plate-like base 2 connecting those leg parts 1 and 1' is etched in an etching liquid at right angles of the plane of the plate 3. Then, corner parts 4-13 of the oscillating plate 3 are etched in an etching liquid equally in two side surfaces connecting with each other at corner parts 4-13, thus removing cut rise parts at the corner parts 4-13. At the leg parts 1 and 1', energizing electrodes 14-21 are arranged, and connecting electrodes 22-27 connecting the energizing electrodes 14-21 are also arranged across the leg parts 1 and 1' or corner parts 4-13 of the base part 2. |
