PURPOSE:To deform and work the spherical body plastically with excellent accuracy and efficiently by pressure-contacting a spherical shaping roller with a circular plastic working surface with the circumference of the spherical section of a work. CONSTITUTION:A revolution driving mechanism 7 with an output shaft 6 is internally mounted to the upper end section of an arm 5. A chuck device 11 is movably connected to the shaft 6 through a floating mechanism 10, and the work 12 is fixed. A plurality of the spherical shaping rollers 16 are set up at regular intervals while using the axial extension of the shaft 6 as reference, and the spherical shaping rollers 16 have the circular working surfaces 17 harder than a spherical surface 13. The spherical section to be worked 13 arranged to a spherical working section 21 is given uniform pressure-contacting force by means of a load adder 9 and a pressure-contacting mechanism 22 by a supporting mechanism 18 and held. Accordingly, the pressure-contacting force is added to the spherical section 13 through the shaping rollers 16, the spherical section 13 is turned, and the spherical surface is plastically fluidized and finished and worked. |
