PURPOSE:To provide a rubber compsn. for an inner liner of a pneumatic tire for automobiles, which has such characteristics that air transmission rate is reduced, adhesion between different kinds of adjacent rubbers is increased and thermosetting is inhibited, by blending a resin homogenizing agent with a raw rubber consisting of a halogenated butyl rubber and a diene rubber. CONSTITUTION:5-50pts.wt. resin homogenizing agent (such as ''Struktol 40MS '' obtd. by blending not less than 85wt% petroleum resin with not more than 15wt% acetyl compd.) in addition to conventional additives is added to 100pts.wt. raw rubber consisting of 50-100pts.wt. halogenated butyl rubber and 0-50pts.wt. diene rubber such as NR, IR, BR or SBR to obtain the desired rubber compsn. This compsn. is used for particularly large-sized tires for construction vehicles, which are constructed of biasply. |
