PURPOSE:To obtain a cement carrier of a small construction as a whole by providing main tanks on both sides of the bottom of the ship and a sub-tank and a measuring device on a central deck and transferring the cement in main tanks by conveyors via the sub-tank for lowering the position of the center of gravity. CONSTITUTION:Main tanks A and A' are provided on right and left sides of the inside of the bottom of a ship, while a sub-tank B and a succeeding measuring device C are provided on the deck between both main tanks A and A'. Concrete is contained in the main tanks A and A' and carried to a prescribed sea area for constructions of sea bottom, embankment, and others. Then, the concrete is conveyed from main tanks A and A' to the sub-tank B via screw conveyors 5, 10, and 15, and supplied to the prescribed part from a hose 22 via the measuring device C. Main tanks A and A' arranged at the bottom of the ship under the deck permit to lower the center of gravity as a whole and reduce the whole size of the carrier ship. |
