PURPOSE:To reduce noise by specifying the formation position of trim remainder projections in a pneumatic tire formed with the trim remainder projections of vent hole burr on a tread pattern. CONSTITUTION:Multiple blocks 4 are formed with main grooves 2 and auxiliary grooves 3 on a tread 1, and cuffs 6 are formed on the block 4 of a shoulder section. In this case, the main grooves 2 and the auxiliary grooves 3 are formed at 1.5mm or more in width and 4mm or more in depth. The width and depth of the cuffs 6 are made smaller than these width and depth. The trim remainder projections 5 are formed on the blocks 4 at portions having high block rigidity in areas where the minimum distance A from the projections 5 to the main grooves 2 and auxiliary grooves 3 is 3mm or more. According to this constitution, the rubber deformation around the projections 5 when a tire is rotated can be decreased, and the noise caused by the trim remainder projections can be reduced. |
