PURPOSE:To provide a static recording head which is easy to manufacture and has been improved in reliability and stability by the adoption of a system wherein electrode wires composing a recording electrode are connected to corresponding electrode wire connecting lands of a printed wiring substrate so that they are electrically conducted each other. CONSTITUTION:Electrode wires 505 are formed by copper, nickel, etc. with insulation film such as formal, etc. coated and the other ends of the wires are extended from a side opposite to the side of recording electrode 501 of a square rod type electrode supporting member 503 with the substantially same pitch as that of the recording electrodes being maintained, electrically connected to specified positions of a printed wiring substrate by a group of electrodes respectively. The printed wiring substrate 507 is used to realize the composition of the recording electrodes of a static recording head and it is provided with such wirings by, for instance, print circuit wiring technique, whereby recording electrodes 501 are divided into many groups of electrodes, each comprising m pieces of electrode wire, and two systems of electrode groups GA, GB are composed by connecting each other electrode groups alternately of which relative positions are the same. |
