DETECTION OF ACCIDENTAL NAILING IN COATED PIPING MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To enable detection on whether accidental nailing occurs or not in piping material by providing a insulated metal-coated layer on a metal pipe in a construction work. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a flexible metal pipe 1 is protected with a foaming thermoplastic resin coated layer 2, the surface of which is covered with a metalic coated layer 3 made of aluminum foil or the like. A resin coat 4 is provided thereon as a protective cover. A conduction test is conducted with a tester 5 between the pipe 1 and the layer 3 thereby easily indicating whether there is nailing or not.
