PURPOSE:To position a feeder for a continuous sheet accurately by a method wherein an arm member which comprises a spring member and interlock a driving means with the feeder for the continuous sheet is provided for opening and closing the feeder through the driving means. CONSTITUTION:The arm 8 rotatably supported on a shaft 9 is provided with a slot 81 and opening parts 82, 83, and a shaft 7 is losely fitted in the slot 81 to be capable of sliding. A plate member 14 has one end losely fitted to the shaft 7 and the other end losely fitted to a pin 15. One end of a spring 13 is engaged with the pin 15 and the other end is losely fitted to the pin 15. The feeder for the continuous sheet is pressed against a main body side plate 2 so that the shaft 7 is slightly staggered leftward with reference to the shaft 7 in the condition where the feeder is closed. Accordingly, a high positional accuracy can be obtained, and even when the position of a gear 10 is a little deviated, the error is absorbed by the spring 13 and the slot 81, resulting in a accurate positioning. |
