<p>The invention relates to a coupling device for coupling a tubular outer part (47) to an inner part (46), which is slidable in the outer part, in an arbitrary position relative to each other, the coupling device comprising a coupling union (48) and a release element (66), which coupling union surrounds and is slidable on the inner part, is coupled to the outer part, and comprises flexible elements (53, 54, 55, 56) which are inclined relative to the axial direction of the union and are interconnected in such a way that an axial extension of the coupling union results in a reduction of the circumference of the coupling union and in the union gripping the inner part, the coupling union being axially compressible by means of the release element, which results in an increase of the circumference of the coupling union and in the coupling union releasing the inner part. The parts can be adjusted to a desired length by a simple axial sliding movement.</p> |
