PURPOSE:To make it possible to drive both a circulating pump and a hot water supply pump by only one electric motor in a hot water supplier which is provided with a circulating line connecting respective heat exchangers on the heat source side and on the hot water consuming side, a heat exchanger on the consuming side and a hot water storage tank concurrently serving as heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:The heat exchanger on the hot water consuming side 2 is connected with the heat exchanger on the heat source side 1 through the circulating line 4. An electrically driven pumping system 5 comprises a circulating pump 7 on the circulating line 4, a reversible electric motor 6 and a hot water supply pump 8 on a hot water supply line 10 through which the hot water storage tank 3 and a faucet 9 are connected. The reversible electric motor 6 mentioned above is equipped with runners 71, 81 on respective ends of the motor shaft 61 thrugh one-way clutches 12, 13 which are mounted opposite directions each other. Rotation of the electric motor 6 in the normal direction causes hot water to be delivered through the faucet 9 by the one-way clutch 12 being engaged to drive the runner 81. Reverse rotation of the electric motor 6 causes hot water stored in the hot water tank 3 to be heated owing to water in the circuilating line 4 being circulated by the one-way clutch 13 being engaged to drive the runner 71. |
