<p>In a heat exchanger including a flat tube made of metal, and corrugated fins joined by welding to the tube, a multiplicity of elevated portions are successively formed on one side of the flat tube and arranged in a direction intersecting the axis of the tube. The elevated portions, which may be triangular, arcuate, trapezoidal or any other suitable shape in cross section, each have a height smaller than the thickness of a wall of the flat tube.</p> |
