The liq. container has a filling and emptying opening (3) which is sealed by a disc formation (10). A tube (11) is integral with the disc and extends into the bag. The outer end of the tube terminates in an integral cover (14) which is sealed against the disc. The cover can be torn off by a grip loop (16) when the bag is to be used. The inner end of the tube has a sealing portion (12) which is flattened and extends transversely to the longitudinal direction of the tube. The tube side wall portions converge towards the interior of the container and the part of the tube behind the flattened portion is thinner than the rest to permit the passage of sterilising steam.
