PURPOSE:To detect an accurate bending angle regardless of the bending form, the warp, etc. of a work, by detecting the revolving angle of a contact member which can freely touch the work. CONSTITUTION:A tracking member 23 is moved down before a plate material 9 is put on a die 11 and then fixed with a hooking means in the state under which a contact member 57 is set to a lower position from the upper face of the die 11 to give no interference to the carry-in and carry-out of the material 9. The hooking means is released after the material is carried in, and a contact is secured between the member 57 and the material 9. When the material 9 starts bending with the close-up between the upper and lower aprons 1 and 13, the member 23 moved upward with the upward turning of the material 9. Then a rotary member 49 turns with contact between the member 57 and the material 9. The rotation of a pulley unified to the member 49 is transmitted to a pulley 45 via a transmission member 53. Then the revolving angle i.e., the bending angle of the material 9 is detected by a detector 44. |
