发明名称 HEATING METHOD OF DIRECTIONAL SILICON STEEL IN HEATING FURNACE
摘要 PURPOSE:To remove scales completely and to prevent generation of surface defects in the process following the hot rolling, by leaving a suitable space between steel ingots, charging them into a heating furnace, and generating the scales which are peeled off easily, on the side of the steel ingot in the same way as the surface. CONSTITUTION:When charging a steel ingot 1 on a working beam 2 of a heating furnace, heating is executed by controlling the stroke of a pusher and maintaining a space (t) of the thermal expansion amount of the steel ingot plus about 10- 20mm., between respective steel ingots 1. Heating of a directional silicon steel ingot usually requires heating of about 1,300-1,400 deg.C, accordingly, molten scale are generated on the surface of the steel ingot. The side of the steel ingot 1 has the sufficient space (t), is exposed to an oxidized atmosphere in the same way as the surface, the molten scales whose oxidation has advanced are generated, and its scales are peeled off and removed easily in the next descaling process.
