PURPOSE:To enable the injection of a liq. crystal from one end of a liq. crystal panel by adhering a metallic seat to the end so as to enclose the opening for injecting the liq. crystal with the central through-hole of the seat and by tightly sealing the opening of the through-hole of the seat after the injection. CONSTITUTION:A substrate 2 with an electrode for applying an electric field and a lead terminal of the electrode formed by pattering and a substrate 3 with an electrode for applying the electric field formed by patterning are set opposite to each other with a sealant 4 in-between at a prescribed interval, and ends of the substrates 2, 3 are arranged in the same plane to form a panel. An opening 6 is bored in the sealant 4 at the arranged end 7 of the panel. One side of a metallic seat 8 is adhered to the end 7 with an epoxy adhesive 10 or the like so as to enclose the opening 6 of the sealant 4 with a central through-hole bored in the seat 8, and after injecting a liq. crystal 5 into the space of the panel, the opening 6 is sealed by welding solder 9 to the other side of the seat 8. |
