PURPOSE:To ensure the precision of an interval between a photoreceptor belt and an original platen, by performing slit exposure while pressing a beltlike photoreceptor against a positioning plate by a roller. CONSTITUTION:Under a positioning plate 12 parallel to an original platen 11, an endless photoreceptor belt 17 is provided, and a press-contacting roller 27 while bringing the belt into press contact with the positioning plate runs synchronously with the run of an illumination optical system 13 for slit exposure composed of a convergent optical transmitter between the original platen 11 and positioning plate 12. Therefore, the photoreceptor belt and original platen are held accurately parallel and at an inteval L all the time. |
