The mechanism is such that in the neutral position the rocker return-wheel (19) is engaged with neither the clutch pinion (2) nor with the minute wheel (29). When passing from the neutral position to the date-correction position, the clutch-pinion rocker (9) remains in place, as does the clutch pinion, whereas the return-wheel rocker (14), freed by the setting lever, engages the return-wheel (19) with the clutch pinion and the corrector return-wheel (28). When passing from the date-correction position to the time-setting position, the clutch-pinion rocker is actuated by the setting lever and its movement is transmitted to the return-wheel rocker (14), in such a way that the return wheel (19) meshes with the minute wheel (29) whilst remaining engaged with the clutch pinion. A wheel-work stop operated by the setting lever arrests the centre-seconds wheel (30) and makes contact with a short-circuit pin (27) in order to interrupt the supply to the motor. <IMAGE>
