The hydraulically actuated vehicle with a small excavating shovel comprises a steering arm (1) which is jointed to the drivers seat of the vehicle above the front wheel (9). The arm contains a rod (2), the upper end of which is connected to operating handles (3) and the lower end of which is connected to a stop cylinder (4) on the seat. The cylinder (4) is linked to the control panel (7) of the vehicle by a cable and a bar (6) allowing the vehicle to be manoeuvred backwards and forwards by manual movement of the steering arm and the operating handles.
