The invention relates to two convertible sofas which are arranged at right angles to one another and each of which has two cushion parts which can be used selectively as a seat or as a bed, in that the seat cushion is connected at the rear upper edge in the manner of a hinge to the rear lower edge of a back cushion (3) which is reduced by the seat depth. A rectangular table (7) designed as a corner table has, at the corner facing the convertible sofas (A, B), a hinge (8) about which the one convertible sofa (A) can be pivoted until it rests against the other convertible sofa (B). The shorter side of the table (7) corresponds to the construction depth of the first convertible sofa in the seating position and its longer side corresponds to the lying width of the second convertible sofa (B). With this design, a double bed can be made from two individual sofas with little manipulation. <IMAGE>
